No Reservations was formed in March of 1995. Key members of the group began writing original music in the fall of 1994 at N’swakamok Native Friendship Centre in Sudbury, Ontario. This young, Canadian, Indigenous group independently released two albums. The first, Necessary, was released in 1997 and was nominated for a Juno in the Best Aboriginal Canada Recording category. The follow-up, Hollywood Indian, was released in the spring of 1999. That album earned them a nomination for Best Rock Group at the first ever Aboriginal Music Awards, held in Toronto. No Reservations has opened for Buffy Sainte-Marie, Freddy Fender, and April Wine, while playing numerous festivals across the country. Festival audiences will be lucky enough to witness an exclusive reunion of this influential band, only seen at Northern Lights 2017.
